Richard MichaelHOPKINSRichard Michael Hopkins passed away peacefully at home on 2nd January 2025, aged 86.

Loving and deeply loved husband of Joan, dearly loved father of Karen, Michael, and Matthew, cherished father-in-law to Duncan, Iona and Alison, loving grandfather of Richard, Issy, Charles, Harry, Angus, Thomas, Sam, and Will, and a very proud great-grandfather of Arthur, Evie, and Lachlan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A short service to celebrate Richard's life will be held at Loughborough Crematorium on Tuesday, 18th February, at 10:30 a.m.

No flowers, please, and please no dark dress. Instead, bright colours are kindly requested.

Richard was the most genuine of people, always willing to be there for those around him.
A great colleague, friend and mentor. we worked together for 28 years, providing daily catering to the staff at County Hall, Royal visits and many, many civic functions, also many outside events, wonderful memories.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Condolences to Joan, Mike, Karen and Matt.
